What does the castration service include?

During castration, the surgeon cuts out the uterus and fallopian tubes (in females), as well as the vas deferens and testicles (in males). As a result of the procedure, the animal is deprived of any reproductive capacity. The advantage of the castration procedure is that it reduces the risk of genital tract diseases, including cancer. The cost of the procedure includes the operation to remove the testicles/tubal cavity and uterus, anaesthesia, antibiotic therapy and inpatient observation in the postoperative period. We discharge the animal after it fully wakes up from anaesthesia and provide further recommendations on feeding and treatment of the postoperative field

How does a visit to the vet work?

Based on the results of the examination, the doctor may recommend additional urine and blood tests, teeth and ear cleaning, nail trimming, or specialised tests.
