weterynarz Marta Czarna

In 2017, she began her studies at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, majoring in Breeding and Protection of Companion and Wild Animals. During her studies, she gained professional experience working in the zoological industry and at the PANDA Foundation for the Development of the Warsaw Zoo, which allowed her to deepen her knowledge and practice related to animal care.

In 2020, she graduated from veterinary technical school and started working at a 24-hour clinic in the Warsaw suburbs. In 2021, while working at the emergency clinic, she joined the team of a specialized veterinary clinic focused on neurology and a magnetic resonance imaging laboratory, simultaneously developing her skills as an anesthesia and surgical technician.

Her particular passion is emergency medicine, and working in crisis situations brings her great satisfaction, as it allows her to make quick and decisive actions that directly impact saving patients’ lives.

She has been part of Zviropolis since the opening of the first clinic, actively participating in its development and shaping care standards that always prioritize the well-being of patients. Thanks to her immense dedication, broad knowledge, and individual approach to the team, she was promoted to the position of technical team manager at one of the facilities and later took on the role of head coordinator of the technical team at Zviropolis.

Creating stress-free treatment conditions and ensuring the highest quality of care, with particular attention to the emotional well-being of patients, is closest to her heart. She strives for every animal patient to feel comfortable, safe, and surrounded by caring attention during treatment.

In her private life, she is passionate about wild animals and is the caretaker of two dogs.

  • Parasites: ticks and fleas

Ixodes ticks and fleas are parasites that can pose a health risk to our pets. Ixodes ticks can transmit toxoplasmosis (babesiosis), Lyme and Ehrlich tick-borne diseases, causing anemia and general toxic poisoning in dogs. Fleas, on the other hand, cause dermatitis, severe itching and can sometimes be a source of tapeworm infection (heartworm disease).
