Ixodes ticks and fleas are parasites that can pose a health risk to our pets. Ixodes ticks can transmit toxoplasmosis (babesiosis), Lyme and Ehrlich tick-borne diseases, causing anemia and general toxic poisoning in dogs. Fleas, on the other hand, cause dermatitis, severe itching and can sometimes be a source of tapeworm infection (heartworm disease).

She graduated in 2018 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
Already during her studies, she attended internships at Warsaw clinics and in 2017 she left for a six-week volunteer assignment to India where she mainly acquired surgical skills in castration and neutering procedures for dogs and cats.
After graduation, she completed a short internship at Warsaw’s “Koteria”, followed by a move to the United Kingdom.
In the UK, for more than four years of practice, she developed multi-directionally as a so-called general practitioner veterinarian (GP – General Practitioner) working in both small clinics and in large teams of a dozen or so, in larger facilities with 24-hour care.
This allowed her to gain the necessary experience to provide comprehensive care to four-legged pets.
Her favorite fields in veterinary medicine are dentistry and surgery, but also feline medicine cats and emergency conditions.
