Ixodes ticks and fleas are parasites that can pose a health risk to our pets. Ixodes ticks can transmit toxoplasmosis (babesiosis), Lyme and Ehrlich tick-borne diseases, causing anemia and general toxic poisoning in dogs. Fleas, on the other hand, cause dermatitis, severe itching and can sometimes be a source of tapeworm infection (heartworm disease).

Imaging diagnostics is the process of using various imaging technologies and techniques, such as X-ray imaging, ultrasound imaging and MRI, to obtain images of your pet's internal organs and tissues. These images are used to prevent and treat disease and to monitor the animal's condition during treatment.

She graduated from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) in 2018. While studying at the university, she began to explore her passion for animal surgery. She acquired her first surgical skills through volunteering in India, in the state of Goa, where she actively participated in the sterilization and neutering processes of stray dogs and cats. She continued her clinical practice at the Warsawbased foundation “Koteria,” whose main goal is to improve the welfare of animals through the sterilization and neutering of both stray and domestic cats.
After graduating, she decided to pursue her professional development in the United Kingdom. While working there, she participated in numerous training sessions that allowed her to gain valuable knowledge and experience in areas such as canine and feline internal medicine, imaging diagnostics (ultrasound and Xray), dentistry, emergency medicine, and surgery, including laparoscopic surgery. Although she acquired valuable skills, a longing for Poland, particularly for her beloved Warsaw, led her to return home, resulting in her starting work at Zviropolis in 2023.
She is currently specializing in veterinary surgery at the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław.
