Ixodes ticks and fleas are parasites that can pose a health risk to our pets. Ixodes ticks can transmit toxoplasmosis (babesiosis), Lyme and Ehrlich tick-borne diseases, causing anemia and general toxic poisoning in dogs. Fleas, on the other hand, cause dermatitis, severe itching and can sometimes be a source of tapeworm infection (heartworm disease).

A graduate of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at SGGW in Warsaw. From the beginning of her studies, she gained experience in many veterinary clinics in Warsaw. She completed internships abroad in an emergency clinic in Athens and in a veterinary practice in Barcelona.
Her main professional interests are internal diseases of dogs and cats, as well as ultrasonography, and she continuously expands her knowledge by participating in numerous conferences and training sessions.
In her personal life, she loves sports, especially mountain hiking, and vegetarian cuisine.
